Background
100 Yen Shop Sdn Bhd is the Malaysian office of an internationally renowned franchise retail chain for quality Japanese products. With its headquarter in Japan, the company incorporated in Malaysia since 2004 to venture into this franchising business. Formerly known as Motion Planet Sdn Bhd,it is now named as One Hundred Yen Sdn Bhd.
The company is principally engaged in the sales of quality imported goods from Japanese products and snacks, Taiwanese Snow Ice, to Korean food and drinks etc. Among these, snow ice is a result of joint concept with their associate company, Snow Ice International Group Sdn Bhd (SIIG), which was established in 2006.

Snow ice is made from cubes of frozen juice which imported from Taiwan, whereas usually local ais kacang would just use blocks of frozen plain water. The ice is also shaved very thin until it got a unique texture, which is silky smooth and melts in the mouth instantly. Then, it will be topped with slices of fruit, generous servings of fruit syrup or other ingredients, depending on the flavor. Boasting all kinds of natural substances, this particular dessert is said to be healthy and non-fattening.
