What's the different of WikiStreetFood with a blog or forum?
- A blog is where you can only read the limited information that the blogger wrote.
- A forum is where you can write and read comments/suggestions of others in a less organize structure. It focus more on the discussion rather than the food information itself. It could be a good place to discuss, but not a suitable place to search for food information in an organized database
- WikiStreetFood is more like the famous web site, Wikipedia sharing concept. Where information stored in an organized and easy to search structure. User can update other user's article for extra or new information (But NOT personal feeling/conclusion/comment). By gathering the effort of many users, will at last come out with up-to-date, useful and informative articles.
Could I post article other than regarding street food?
You could post any food discovery article not only limit to street food, for example restaurant, hotel cafeteria, buffet, etc. The meaning of street food in WikiStreetFood is more emphasis on the spirit of food discovering. Anyway, user are not allow to post article for any topic other than that.
Does WikiStreetFood allow user to edit Main, Help and other pages?
Due to prevent vandalism, WikiStreetFood does not allow user to edit these pages.
How can I add my article to Newest article in main page?
Don't worry, WikiStreetFood will inform us when there is a new article and we will update this on main page daily.
