e KiA Restaurant(益佳餐厅) is quite new within Penang Bayan Lepas area. It is located just beside the Queensbay HSBC Bank. The name of the restaurant is unforgettable, due to its pronunciation same with the famous international furniture retailer, IKEA.
This restaurant serves a great varieties of Chinese cuisine, and a lot of the dishes are quiet special, which differ from ordinary Chinese Zhu Cha(煮炒) stall. For example the Hakka fried pork, Salted fish cutlet(咸鱼肉饼), Homemade e KiA salted chicken, Bread crumbo prawns and many others. If customer prefer to order some simple single dishes, the restaurant also serves different kind of fried rice and fried noodle, for example Pineapple fried rice, Fried Udon noodle and others.

During lunch time, the restaurant also provides budget set lunch, which price range from RM6.50 to RM9.90 including a main dish, herbal drink, soup and jelly or fruit. For the main dish, customer can pick their preference from more than 10 kind of options, includes Gong Bao Chicken(宫保鸡丁), Pork chop, Ku Luk(咕噜肉) meat, Pork rib etc. The food portion of main dish is quite generous and usually comes together with a nice fried egg.
While talking about the taste of the dishes here, it taste great and are less oily compare to many Zhu Cha stalls. Although the serving time might not happen within 10 minutes after ordering, but customer can still feel the sincere from the owner in preparing the foods. This is especially true at the dinner session, when many of the dishes doesn't seem to be easy in preparation, but yet the owner still able to provide high quality, tasty, comparable healthy and creative dishes.
No doubt that the price of dishes here is quite cheap when it provides customer a comfort and air-conditioning dining environment with above average food quality (Refer menu). Surprisingly that the restaurant also provides delivery service for set meal, lunch or even dinner (Refer the banner on top of the restaurant). Overall e KiA Restaurant(益佳餐厅) is definitely a highly recommended Chinese cuisine restaurant within Bayan Lepas area. This also explains why the business of the restaurant can be so good even it is still a newly started restaurant.
