Penang:Northern Beach Cafe

Northern Beach Cafe (诺登美食坊), one of the most famous Penang hawker center at night around Gurney area. Although stalls here are not as many as New Gurney Drive Food Court (新湾仔角) which is nearby, but it has it's own attraction. The parking is quite convenient here and the food is special, especially their different kinds of western food.
A few popular western food stalls in this cafe are Pasta and Pie (Italian style), Wender Bar German Sausages (Germany style), Green Pepper Mexican Cantina (Mexican style), La France (French style) and others. Although local Malaysian are not familiar with these kind of foods, they found it easy to chose the food they prefer, because all of these food stalls have a huge menu in front with a brief description, photo and price of each of their servings. There are also a lot of local food stalls here which are selling Dim Sum (点心), Thai style fried rice, roasted chicken wing, Hokkien mee and others. Generally foods here is special, quite nice and with reasonable price.
Another credit of Northern Beach Cafe comes with their relaxing environment. It is an open dining area with an excellent sea view, where customer can enjoy the night view of main land city from Penang island. Overall, this is a good place to have some relaxation, to try for traditional western foods which are even prepared by western foreigner, and with a reasonable price.
