Penang:TS Fish Village (渔村海鲜楼)

There are many fish villages within Penang, either in the island or mainland, but if talking about places which famous with seafood and have most seafood restaurants, Bukit Tambun should be the place which most local people believe is. It is a town located at the south of the mainland of Penang which have around 20 to 30 seafood restaurants.
Among these seafood restaurants, TS Fish Village Restaurant (渔村海鲜楼) should be one of them which preferable by a lots of seafood hunters. This restaurant serves diferent kind of fresh seafood from the more common types to some seasonable or special seafood. For example different kind of prawns, crabs, fish, clams and others which might be uncommon to be found in the supermarket.
Anyway the freshness of the seafood is the most important thing. Most of the seafood here are shipping from the harbor daily and keep alive in many big aquariums in front of TS Fish Village Restaurant main dining hall. By the time customer drop their order, the chef will pick some of their ingredient from these aquariums.
Other than freshness of the seafood, another credit to TS Fish Village Restaurant is they have a very big menu which is hanging in front of their main dining hall and obvious to customer. This ease the customer to pick the method of cooking as well as giving them some idea on what to order. Although the price is not listed there due to seafood price is seasonable, the price is very cheap if compare to some other seafood restaurants near the main rood.
Overall the seafood here is consider fresh, the cooking skill of the chef here is above average, the dining area is quite spacious, the service is comparable fast and the price is cheap.
