Karpin Yong Tao Fu (嘉宾釀豆腐) is a newly open restaurant in Ipoh, near the Shen Jai school (深斋). Although it is still new, it has already become a very crowded restaurant where customer would even hard to find an available table especially during weekend.

This restaurant is specialize in selling Yong Tao Fu (釀豆腐), where their Yong Tao Fu is made with fresh ingredient like meat, vegetable etc. There is a corner at the entrance of the restaurant which place around 20 different kinds of home-made fresh Yong Tao Fu. Customer should self-service to pick their favorites there and than make order in front of the kitchen, which is just beside the Yong Tao Fu corner.

One different in this restaurant is the size of their Yong Tao Fu is slightly bigger than usual Yong Tao Fu stall. Besides the Yong Tao Fu is prepared on the fly to guarantee their freshness and juicy. The environment here is also different compare to traditional chines restaurant, which their interior design looks more modern, clean and comfort. Their kitchen is a open-style kitchen which located beside the entrance. Thus, customer could see how the chefs prepare their food while waiting and also provides more confidence level on the cleanness of their food.
