Kim Keei Seafood Noodle (金记海鲜粉) has started its business more than ten years ago in Ipoh famous food street, Jalan Yau Tet Shin. But before that, the owner already has around 20 years of experience in food and beverage industry.

This little restaurant is actually well recognize by a lot of newspaper and even food guide. The restaurant owner's very own seafood noodle is a hot-favorite among customers. In order to let customer to have healthier and fresher high quality seafood, the owner even purchase fresh seafood daily from the early wet market. Fish balls that made by herself from Batang fish are so tasty that customers keep coming back for more.

Besides of the freshness of the seafood, the clear and sweet soup based of their seafood noodle is another secret weapon. This soup base is boiled for 8 hours with Ikan bilis (anchovies), which is why it is so tasty. The soup then will topped with big fresh prawns, squid, fishcake and vegetables. Such rich variety is good enough to whet customer's appetite. Customer can also chose to topped with pork innards, pork meat or others.

Other than the seafood noodle, the owner is also an expert in cooking pig trotters in vinegar (猪脚醋). Anyway due to the cost of preparing pig trotters in vinegar is much more expensive and it requires a lot of work, Kim Keei restaurant now only accept pre-order for this dish. Customer are recommended to order at least a whole pig leg, then only they will prepare this dish.
