Sun Marpoh Restaurant(孖宝海鲜饭店) in Ipoh is an extremely famous traditional Chinese cuisine or Zhu Cha restaurant. The restaurant started its business since 80's or even earlier but the food quality is able to maintain until now. Most of the Ipoh locals know and even recognize this restaurant as one of the best in Ipoh. Usually the restaurant is crowded even during weekdays and it is impossible to find a seat without few weeks prior reservation during peak seasons, for example Chinese New Year.
Sun Marpoh Restaurant(孖宝海鲜饭店) is located nearby Ipoh Stadium in Ipoh Garden. Back then, the restaurant was known as Marpoh Restaurant. Now it has expanded into two shop lots and fully air-conditioned, which is why the Sun(Sun means new in Cantonese) comes from.
