Tuck Kee Restaurant(德记茶餐室) has already become one of the trademark or representative of Ipoh food. The restaurant is located at Yau Tet Shin road which is one of the most energetic street in Ipoh at night, due to another best Ipoh food is located here too, which is Restaurant Lou Wong Tauge Ayam Kuetiau (老黄芽菜鸡沙河粉).
Since many years ago, Tuck Kee Restaurant(德记茶餐室) has started their fried noodle business here. Currently there is another restaurant named Sun Tuck Kee(新德记) which is just around 2 shop lots away from it. This restaurant is operating by the son, while the original one is running by the father. Anyway both of them are selling same dishes.
Tuck Kee Restaurant(德记茶餐室) is famous because of their varieties of mouth watering fried noodle dishes, for example Wat Dan Hor(滑蛋河), Fried silver noodle(炒米粉), Fried Dai Lok Mee(炒大碌面), Fried Yee Mee(炒伊面), Fried Hor Fun(炒河粉) and others. Most of their fried noodle came in a slightly wetter presentation but did not lack flavor to the abundance of leafy vegetable, shrimps and crispy pork lard in it. Although some of the customer might complain these fried noodle dishes might be a bit oily, the aroma and heavenly taste noodle usually conquered them.

Besides of different kinds of fried noodles, the restaurant also sells side dishes like pork meat ball in soup, halogen chicken leg(卤鸡脚), steamed bean sprout, halogen Tau Fu and egg, steamed octopus and others. Although these are just side dishes, some customer purposely visit the restaurant just for them, especially the halogen chicken leg, which is quite popular too.
While talking about the environment, since the place is not really big, customer might have to come early for dinner or wait for a table. Overall, Tuck Kee Restaurant(德记茶餐室) definitely is one of the highly recommended restaurant in Ipoh. It sells the kind of dishes that able to trigger a lot of joyful memorable moment of Ipoh people. It is also selling dishes that Ipoh people feel proud to introduce to the visitors.
