This 50-year-old stall retains the traditional Hainanese method of preparing its famous curry noodles, which bears a similar flavour as Indian curry and distinguished by its authentic taste. Originally known as Seng Kee curry noodles, the outfit is wholly a family business whose ambition is to pass down great tasting food to the next generation.
The stallholder's impeccable skills in cooking noodles, combined with homemade braised pork and fluffy bean sprouts, is a signature dish well-loved by customers over the decades. In fact, the restaurant is so famous that it has been recommended by different newspaper a few times. Besides, the stall is always crowded with people, so be prepared to come early (Around 7:30am) or wait.
